A 20th anniversary party at Noah’s Event Venue | Morrisville, North Carolina
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen the image of the stunning couple I photographed on Saturday evening at the vow reaffirmation ceremony that they put on to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Held at the newly constructed Noah’s Event Venue in Morrisville, North Carolina, they couldn’t have picked a better spot to gather their family and friends.
So what were our guests of honor like on their big day? Both Reggie and Renee glowed with excitement. This was their day.
It was also a day with family
Coming together to celebrate
Twenty years of great love
When I have the honor of photographing an anniversary event, my favorite part is at the beginning, before the day of the event, before a camera is even picked up. It is in meeting the couple, talking with them, and hearing how their love story began. For Reggie and Renee, their love story began in Junior High, here in Chapel Hill. Both admit that she noticed him first, but it wasn’t long before both were smitten. (aww!)
Allow me to introduce one of their guests and family members, Aunt Peggy.
You may recognize Peggy from the holiday party I photographed at Maitland Law Firm.
My photography business has grown and thrived thanks to people like Peggy who refer clients to me. I am grateful for the word-of-mouth business that I receive because I find that when you work with dynamic and fabulous people, they know other dynamic and fabulous people…and I am totally biased here…but I LOVE working with and capturing these people. They believe in a sense of community, of family, and ultimately, they helped me to build a good, solid foundation to this business by referring me to their friends and family. For that I am grateful.
To Renee and Reggie, to be able to capture the two of you celebrating your 20th wedding anniversary by reaffirming your vows this past weekend, to see you surrounded by your family and your friends, to hear you say “Yes” and “I do” and “I will” to each other after 20 years of marriage was a joy to witness and an honor to photograph.
