I always have high hopes for September. It could be the teacher in me because I often think Back-to-School time is the time to start new projects. Fall is the time to celebrate and get ready for the holidays.
That said, September was a scorcher in terms of temperature. The leaves were changing colors and falling, but those days of 90F weather when I walked outside left me sweltering! (I am a woos with the humidity!) Now that October has arrived, so has the crisper air that I have been dreaming about! Bring me fall sweaters and cups of tea!

But I am getting ahead of myself…we have a few September birthdays where we want to give a shout out to some of our favorite peeps!
Lynette and Olivia – grandmother and granddaughter – both celebrated their birthdays this month!
Deri, this amazing mom with that amazing smile, celebrated her birthday.
Kathy, another fabulous mom, also rang in another year of love, laughter, and light.
These babies – no longer babies – turned 3 years old!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Dan and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary, and I believe the sentiment I wrote there with my whole heart:
“At the close of this 17th anniversary celebration, I know this much is true: we don’t get to where we are going without the love and support of our friends and family, without some laughter and humor along the way, and without good food and grand adventures.”
Speaking of celebrations, we celebrated another milestone yesterday, thanks to all of you. Barbara Bell Photography turned 15 years old on October 1st, 2017! I cannot even believe it! This event and portrait photography business has brought me great joy in that I got to meet all of you. I had the great honor to capture your families, your love, and your laughter for the past 15 years, and I am humbled by the amazing people I have met on this journey. You are all so very funny, kind, and lovely to work with.
Thank you for these past 15 years, and I look forward to capturing more in the coming years!
