Family Portrait Session with Extended Family | San Carlos, CA

When P&L phoned me to book a portrait session, I loved the way they spoke about their family: themselves, their children, and their grandchildren.  It’s like hearing someone describe a beautiful tree with its many branches. You can hear the pride in their voice as they describe the ‘who’s-who’ of the family.

This didn’t change, either, on the morning we met up for their session.  I arrived to great laughter in a house warmed by it over the years.

Brother and sister teased each other…showing that age does not matter when it comes to family bonds.

And Dad carries this tradition on with his girls.  Their smiles were genuine; their teasing was with great affection.

I was honored to capture this family and the love they have for one another.  They inspired me.  They reminded me of my mission as a photographer to create the photographs to inspire families to share memories.
