Throwback Thursday: Halloween 2005 | Marin, California
As I clean out cupboards and clear out files, it’s inevitable that I am going to run across my film negatives. After being in business for 13 years, I suppose it was bound to happen. Time to bring these back into the light on this Throwback Thursday!
These images were originally shot using film (Kodak Portra 400NC, to be exact), so you’ll see some grain in the photo, which adds a level of texture to the images. You’ll also see shy looks, happy smiles, and a quick getaway.
These were taken at the Southern Marin Mothers’ Club Halloween Party in 2005 – 10 years ago! So, yes, this lil’ pumpkin below? Is 10 or 11 years old now.
This princess is getting her face painted with glitter and sparkles. Truly, what every princess needs!
Another fun costume included a flower with the prettiest of petals
I don’t recall what this costume was, but really who could concentrate on a costume with these beautiful brown eyes staring back at you?
And, finally, how could I not love this guy? This cute clown was trying to make a quick getaway. Halloween is always so festive when we look at the costumes and decorations that come out and the neighborhoods and communities that come together.
I am also posting these on Barbara Bell Photography’s Facebook page.
